A  Chief Minister  is the elected  head of government  of a state of  India . He or she is elected by legislators of the political party or coalition commanding an assembly majority, and serves a five-year term with a provision of re-election.    Eligibility A Chief Minister must be: a citizen of India should be a member of the state legislature.
